British brand Weekend Offender has been serving up Causal street style for the past 12 years. An emphasis on current and past Uk youth cultures has seen the brand grow from T-shirts to a full on celebration of no-nonsense, functional clothes with an insubordinate twist.
Spring/Summer 2016 sees the brands creative effort has being concentrated on ultra-light, deconstructed utilitarian casual and relaxed pieces which fall in line with current surge in popularity for Stone Island and Massimo Osti pieces. The homage is clear and very welly executed with the palette also reflecting this with its vibrant Yellows and Oranges, the counter balance being Azure blues and washed out greens and whites.
Elsewhere Sportswear styled pieces include lightweight shells which have are a modern twist on classics. Layering seems to be a key component of the collection with cotton and light weight nylon shirts being paired with summer weight fleece should the weather change.
My favourite pieces have to be the Niko and Twain sweats. Great use of colour and ideal for those evenings when the sun goes down and it gets a bit nippy out.
