Sadly my old rucksack I use for day to day is on its very last legs which has prompted me to research whats new and great in the world of carry. I currently torn between the two bags below.
The ultra modern Apex Dayton backpack is formed from Herschel Supply’s innovative and tactile ApexKnit™ fabric. This virtually seamless silhouette features a distinctly structured shape detailed with a vertical zippered storage sleeve and a forged rubber strap accent. Waterproof Zippers and seatbelt webbing help to make this one of the best made bags out there.
“The unique woven technology seamlessly blends design and innovation – intersecting modern form with function and utility” stated Herschel Supply Co-Founder, Jamie Cormack. The fabric is comprised of “high-tensile yarn and minimal construction seams” providing a vast array of design options for the company.
The other bag that has caught my eye is from The North Face
The North Face is probably best known for their fantastic jackets and all-weather gear, but the brand is branching out later this year with the Access Pack. The bag includes multiple patent-pending features and has plenty of things worth looking for in a bag. The main compartment is capable of holding an entire day’s worth of essentials all of which is easily accessible via a new clip system. More importantly, each of the things you store inside from your phone to your iPad to your external hard drive is effortlessly retrievable with ejector tabs. Then there’s the integrated tension lock on the shoulder straps, the exo-skeletal structure and the clean, clam-shell design. It’s the perfect pack for the day-to-day. Resembling a Post modern turtle shell, more for a jet-setting millennial than a secondary schooler. Being water resistant and the ability to hold a 15-inch laptop also adds to its charms.
